PRIVACY POLICY

Information we collect
We collect the information needed to operate the store and deliver licenses: your email address, artist or shop name, licensed shop addresses, order and membership records, selected products, and download activity. Subscriber passwords are stored only as salted, one-way security hashes; the original password cannot be retrieved. Security logs may include an IP address, browser information and timestamps.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe Checkout. Stripe receives payment and transaction information under its own privacy policy. The Ink Chic does not store full card numbers or card security codes on this website.
How information is used
We use this information to process orders, send private download links, verify commercial licenses, manage memberships, prevent fraud, provide customer support and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not sell customer personal information.
Store traffic statistics
We use private, first-party traffic measurement to understand which public store pages are visited, the referring website domain and whether a visitor uses a mobile, tablet or desktop device. We do not use third-party advertising analytics. Raw IP addresses, complete browser strings, email addresses and URL query details are not stored in traffic reports. A protected pseudonymous value is used only to estimate unique visitors, is not used for advertising and is retained with detailed traffic totals for up to 90 days. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals are not counted.
Service providers
Information is shared only as needed with providers that operate the store, including Stripe for payments, our hosting provider, Google Workspace for transactional email and Firebase for private administrator-app notifications.
Retention and security
Order and license records are retained while needed to honor purchase rights and meet business obligations. Password setup links, login sessions and guest download links are private and should not be shared. We use encrypted HTTPS connections, salted password hashing, restricted administrative access and private file storage, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information by emailing admin@theinkchic.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention or accounting reasons.
